Nezam Abad Underground Station
General Technical Specification of the Project:
The R2 station project includes a central core (part A), North part (Part B), South part (part D), a rectifier (part C), and east and west backstairs (part EE). For excavating the main part of this station an open method was used, but accesses and entrances were excavated in tunnel digging and soil protecting frame and concrete work method. The station's structure is installed in 4 levels. Structure operations were done in 10 months and included 25000 m2 formworks, 3500 ton reinforcement, and 30000 m2 dumping. R2 station is the first station in metro Lane 2.
Scaffolding with passageway:
According to the concurrency operations in the east part of metro Lane 2, the traffic of machinery was done through this tunnel, so we created a ceiling with 7.5 m in R2 station. In this way, our engineers design a metal truss with panels weight supporting and platform ceiling concrete support. In the next phase of scaffolding, a solid with 6m width designed for the traffic of machinery, which can support loading of the pier cap and the panels.
Concrete Work Operations:
Daily preparation and 400 m2 concrete making was one of the most important activities in station R2. Due to the time limitation and high concrete volume of walls and ceilings, a patching machine and 2 truck- mixers with pomp did the concrete work of the station entrances.
False Walls :
In installing the internal joinery and masonry walls, the old method of dry stone was used instead of false walls. This wall consists of a box frame and special network between a stone and a concrete wall, gutter installation is also possible.
False Ceiling :
The final design of the station's false ceiling is composed of different false ceilings. The false ceiling in platform and the accesses is made of aluminum composite and in the ticket hall its aluminum composite and grillium.
